We've all heard of Outer-Body experience. When a person's soul seems to leave their body, in which they can pretty much see themselves from outside their body. But one thing, is this true? Do you think it's possible? Maybe you've actually done it before, why not share how it happened? The strongest belief is that OBE occurs when you are in a near death situation, but others believe there is a method of doing it. Discuss

My brother's friend tried it once, we didn't really think he did it though. He was still breathing and his eyes were still moving under his eye lids.

I think it would be quite interesting to do it, wouldn't you? Imagine how amazing that would be to leave your body and be able to see it! It's life a halfway point from death and life.

Living in Limbo! Yeah, I'd like to try it. I think I would like haunt my brother just to freak him out.

Hehe. I've tried a lot of research on how to perform this, but sadly I've returned no reliable sources. I wish I could speak to someone who's experienced it before.

I remember very clearly a couple of instances from when I was younger where I was suddenly viewing myself from behind (i.e. outside my body). Didn't really think much of it until I started reading about out of body experiences (OBE's) later in life.
An interesting tidbit: Ever had one of those dreams where you feel like you're falling, only to wake up when you "hit the ground"? Many researchers believe that's the soul returning from an OBE, rushed to get back because the body's waking up. Quite the interesting theory!

Hm, that's happened once or twice, but I don't recall it happeneing since I was about eight years old.. although very occasionally I have a certain dream that I always seem to forget.. it's something to do with pressure, and I wake up forgetting the dream, I have an instinct it's the same dream. I didn't have that one in about a year. Maybe it's nothing related to OBE, but otherwise I don't think I've had it. I wish I did though.

Oh my God! That happens to me all the time. I love it, but it scares me sometimes. It's even happened to me while I was awake. I'd be watching TV when suddenly I'd jump like I had been falling and hit the ground.
